Presearch and Jeffrey Tucker join The Satoshi Awards Nominating Committee as momentum continues to build for the February 2020 premiere.
The awards, dedicated to ‘Honoring Ethical Innovation On The Blockchain’ will be a spectacular production headed by veteran Producer and Satoshi Awards Founder Steve Ellis. “The show we have planned will set the standard for awards ceremonies in this space. I’m really excited about the direction we’re taking and so are our sponsors” Steve said.
The Satoshi Awards will be handed out in 12 categories chosen by a committee comprised of recognized experts and well known personalities within the movement. They include; Roger Ver, CEO Bitcoin.com, Vin Armani, Founder and CTO CoinText, Jeffrey Tucker Libertarian and Economist, Sterlin Lujan, ‘Psychological Anarchist’, Elsa Ramon, Founder ‘Crypto Adventures’, EOS’s Adrianna Mendez and Josh Ellithorpe, Senior Engineer at Coinbase and other notables.
Categories can be suggested at thesatoshiawards.com website.
The Nominating Committee is comprised of cryptocurrency and blockchain luminaries who are driven to discover those people and projects that have had the greatest impact on the spreading acceptance and ethical use of cryptocurrencies to the benefit of humankind.
While the Nominating Committee will choose the finalists in each category, the recipients of The Satoshi Awards will be determined openly by the entire community through a unique system of tokenized voting, carefully designed to assure fairness.
Joining the impressive committee lineup, are Lectern Sponsor ‘Presearch’ and Platinum sponsor ‘Bitcoin.com’. Sponsor and Nominating Committee teams are playing a key role in helping shape the awards by taking part in weekly briefings. “To make this truly the worldwide success it needs to be, we must expand beyond the english speaking world and reach out to a diverse audience that stands to benefit most from the movement we are building” according to Steve. “Towards that end, DASH Thailand and DASH Now are joining us as supporting community members.” Their mission is to introduce the Asian cryptocurrency and blockchain community to The Satoshi Awards.
The team at The Satoshi Awards are all about collaboration and innovation. Each week, the committee members and sponsors come together with the core team to discuss updates, plan content and explore production ideas. “This way,” says Steve, “those who partner with us will get the most out of the event. This is not the ‘same old, same old’ ‘conference and dinner.”
